Throughout our 40-week Caterpillar Kinder program, children build essential skills in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies through structured lessons, hands-on activities, and meaningful practice. Our goal is to help children understand what they're learning, grow in confidence, and prepare for first grade.

A Few Things Parents Often Ask
Q: Is this live or pre-recorded?
A: You can choose Live (Zoom) or Pre-Recorded (weekly release). Both include a clear routine and printables.
Q: How long is class each day?
A: About 40–45 minutes, Monday through Friday.
Do I have to plan lessons?
A: No. You follow the weekly routine and use the included materials.
What do we need at home?
A: A device for class/lessons, basic school supplies, and optional printing.
Q: Is this for U.S. families?
A: Yes. Availability may vary by state.
Meet Ms. Faye
Hi! I'm Ms. Faye, and I'm the teacher behind Caterpillar Kinder Online!
Teaching has been part of my life for more than 20 years, but my love for it started long before that. I studied English and Early Childhood Education at Kent State University, and over the years, I've had the opportunity to teach children in a variety of settings.
I'm also a mom of four, and I've had the joy of homeschooling my children, including graduating one of them so far! So I know firsthand that learning doesn't happen only at a desk. Some of the best lessons come from everyday life, unexpected questions, and discovering how things work.
When I'm not teaching, you'll probably find me with a good book, spending time with my kids, or working on our little farm. I love watching things grow, whether it's something we've planted in the garden or a child who's finally figured out something that once seemed impossible.
That's a big part of how I approach Kindergarten. I want children to build strong foundations in reading, writing, and math, but I also want them to understand what they're learning and discover what they're capable of doing.
I'm looking forward to getting to know your family and being part of your child's learning journey!
